2nd Puchimas! -Petit Idolm@ster- Season Slated for April

The official website for the Puchimas! -Petit Idolm@ster- anime announced on Saturday that the second season is slated to premiere in April 2014. Staff and cast from the first season of two-minute shorts will reprise their roles, and services such as Nico Nico Douga will stream the series. A re-broadcast of the original series will begin in January.
The first series premiered in January and adapts Akane's four-panel manga series that depicts the overly hyper daily life of The IDOLM@STER's 765Pro idols — and mysterious creatures named "Puchidoru" who somewhat resemble the idols. Mankyū (Tono to Issho, Kakko-Kawaii Sengen!, 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku) directed the anime at the studio Gathering, and Sao Tamado (30-sai no Hoken Taiiku) designed the characters.
