Animated cutscenes, cast introduced in latest Disgaea PSV game

Game publisher Nippon Ichi Software began streaming the full trailer for the Makai Senki Disgaea 4 Return (Disgaea 4 Return) PlayStation Vita game on Wednesday. The trailer introduces the game's characters, cast, and gives glimpses of its animated cut-scenes.

The game stars:

Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Valvatorze (Valvatorez in the English version)
Wataru Hatano as Fenrich, Valvatorze's werewolf attendent
Suzuko Mimori as Fuka Kazamatsuri
Manabi Mizuno as DESCO
Eri Kitamura as Vulcano (Vulcanus in the English version)
Asami Imai as Emizel

The original Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten video game revolves around Valvatorez , a vampire demon who used to be extremely powerful and feared. However, due to a promise with a human not to drink human blood, he has been reduced to a Prinny Instructor in Hades, and now feeds off of sardines. Along with his werewolf servant Fenrich, he aims to overthrow Hades' government. Later on, he meets Fuka, a Prinny who was only given a Prinny hat due to shortages of Prinny hide, Emizel, the Netherworld President's spoiled son, and Vulcanus, a mysterious angel who has an eye for money.

Nippon Ichi Software America (NISA) released Makai Senki Disgaea 4 under the title Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten for the PlayStation 3 in North America in Europe in 2011, and also released the PS Vita port of Makai Senki Disgaea 3 (Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice) under the title Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention in 2012.

Disgaea 4 Return will ship in Japan on January 30 for 5,980 yen (about US$60).
