Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts light novels inspired 4-panel series in 2009

The December issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine announced on Saturday that artist KOIZUMI is ending the four-panel manga Baka to Test to Shōkanjū ja in the next issue on November 26.

The manga is based on Kenji Inoue and Yui Haga's Baka to Test to Shōkanjū (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts) romantic comedy light novels about a lower-rung classroom that fights for supremacy in a school with fantasy creatures. KOIZUMI launched the four-panel spin-off in 2009 and the third compiled volume shipped in March.

North American digital manga platform JManga listed the series before the platform shutdown in May. North American anime distributor Funimation released both seasons of the Baka and Test anime series. Original author Kenji Inoue revealed in the eleventh volume of the novels that he plans to end the series in the next volume.
