Creator Eiichiro Oda contributed to 3DS "multi-action adventure" game shipping Thursday

Namco Bandai Games began streaming the second full promotional video for the One Piece Unlimited World Red video game for the Nintendo 3DS on Monday.

The video proclaims that this is the latest entry in the One Piece: Unlimited game series that has shipped over one million copies in Japan alone. It then introduces Red (voiced by Masachika Ichimura), the game's nemesis who aims to be the Pirate King. Standing in his way are the Straw Hat Pirates and a new raccoon character named Pat (TARAKO). The video also features the song "Wave!" by Hyōe Ebata of TRIPLANE, the same band that performed the One Piece anime's ending theme song "Dear friend."

Another video introduces the Straw Hat Pirates:

The game will allow for up to four players to play together, and players can explore the world of One Piece with their friends. Players can embark on different quests and battle enemies with many of the manga and anime's familiar characters. The game also allows players to fish, catch bugs, hunt for treasure, and more to develop and train their characters.

Ganbarion is developing the "multi action-adventure" title. The game features original characters designed by series' creator Eiichiro Oda, such as Red, Pat, and Yadoya (Rumi Hiiragi).

The game is inspiring two Nintendo 3DS XL color variants: Luffy Red and Chōpper Pink. The game and the two 3DS XL consoles will ship in Japan on November 21. The first copies of the game will include the download codes for a limited adventure costume of Luffy from One Piece Film Strong World, as well as an additional Marineford quest with Ace as a playable character.
