Witch Craft Works TV Anime Slated for January 5

This year's 37th issue of Kodansha's Good! Afternoon magazine announced on Saturday that the Witch Craft Works television anime will premiere on the channel Tokyo MX on January 5. The series will have an advance screening event in Tokyo's Cinemart Shinjuku theater on December 29.
The anime of Ryū Mizunagi's Witch Craft Works manga was announced last November. The story centers around Honoka Takamiya (Yūsuke Kobayashi), a boy whose classmate Ayaka Kagari (Asami Seto) is talented in sports, excels in classes, and is attractive on top of everything. She also happens to be the most powerful witch on earth. Her purpose in life is to protect Takamiya at all costs.
