Lost in Translation
A new 95-second promotional video for Seitokai Yakuindomo*, the second anime season inspired by Tozen Ujiie's school comedy manga, debuted on the anime's website on Sunday. The video features the song "Hanasaku Saikyō Legend Days" (Flower-Blooming Strongest Legend Days) by Triple Booking.
The promotional video is narrated by Shintarō Asanuma as Takatoshi Tsuda, who comments on the increased quality of the animation. He also tells viewers that many new characters will join the cast among the returning characters. He tells new fans that if don't know the story behind the returning characters, they should pick up the original manga or OVAs.
Seitokai Yakuindomo* will premiere on the Tokyo MX TV station on January 4. Advance screenings of the second season's first episode, as well as the entire first season, ran at Osaka's TOHO Cinemas Nanba theater on December 21 and at Tokyo's TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills on December 22.
Voice actress Satomi Satou is performing the ending theme song "Mirai Night" as her debut single. The voice actress group Triple Booking, a unit consisting of voice actresses Yōko Hikasa, Satomi Satou, and Sayuri Yahagi, is returning to perform the opening theme "Hanasaku Saikyō Legend Days" (Flower-Blooming Strongest Legend Days).
