Newest film about bumbling secret society bent on world conquest to open in spring

Taka no Tsume 7 (Eagle Talon 7), the latest movie in the comedy Flash anime franchise Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume (Secret Society Eagle Talon), will open next spring. A seven-second teaser trailer announced the film:

Despite the title, the film is actually the sixth Eagle Talon feature; the fifth one just opened in Japan in September, but people who watched the fifth film received the "Taka no Tsume Six" short as a free present on DVD.

The new film is a collaboration with the job recruiting firm Townwork, and the company's popular mascot Joboob appear in the film. Director/writer/character designer/sound recording engineer/Flash animator/editor/voice actor Frogman half-jokingly said that he has no story treatment yet — even though they are already recording the dialogue.

The original Eagle Talon Flash anime centers on the titular secret society and its bumbling attempts to take over the world. The production company DLE Inc. and FROGMAN launched the first Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume (Secret Society Eagle Talon) television series in 2006, and the series spawned several previous films.

The Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume: Countdown (Secret Society Eagle Talon: Countdown) television anime premiered in October 2009, and the Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume Gaiden Mukashi no Yoshida-kun spinoff debuted in Japan on January 21. 2010's Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume The Movie 3 ~http://takanotsume.jp wa Eien ni~, the third film based on the original Eagle Talon shorts, claimed Japan's largest credited voice cast after 14,137 fans contributed recordings.
