7th volume to bundle "forbidden episode too risqué for TV" on June 30

Retailers Mangaoh Club and Amazon are both listing that the seventh volume of Mari Matsuzawa's Saikin, Imōto no Yōsu ga Chotto Okashiin Da Ga. (Recently, my sister is unusual.) manga will have a limited edition that will bundle an anime Blu-ray Disc. The book and disc will ship on June 30 for 4,410 yen (about US$42), although Amazon lists the item for 4,536 yen (US$43).

The retailer descriptions note that the Blu-ray Disc will include a "forbidden episode" that is "too risqué for television broadcast." The limited edition bundle will also include a special manga cover illustration.

Matsuzawa's original manga revolves around a girl named Mitsuki Kanzaki, who lives with her step-brother Yūya after her mother remarries. One day, Mitsuki is possessed by the self-proclaimed spirit of a young girl, Hiyori Kotobuki. Hiyori (in Mitsuki's body) must fall in love with Yūya to move toward the "Gates of Heaven."

The manga inspired a television anime series that premiered in Japan on January 4. Crunchyroll is streaming the series outside of Japan as it airs. The anime stars Chinami Hashimoto as Mitsuki Kanzaki, Junji Majima as Yūya Kanzaki, and Yui Ogura as Hiyori Kotobuki.

The manga is also inspiring a live-action film adaptation that will open this spring.
