Kamen no Maid Guy's Akai Starts Kin no Kanojo, Gin no Kanojo Manga

Romantic comedy follows protagonist whose love interest is split into two girls

The March issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine debuted Maruboro Akai's new manga series Kin no Kanojo, Gin no Kanojo (Golden Girlfriend, Silver Girlfriend) manga on Thursday. The romantic comedy depicts a hapless protagonist and his beautiful love interest — who is split into two girls by a divine power. The "Golden Girlfriend" is the graceful and ladylike type, while the "Silver Girlfriend" is the mischievous, foulmouthed, and straightforward type. The manga began with two full chapters in the March issue.

The same issue also published "Sengoku Musou ~Ishida Mitsunari no Sho~ Senjō o Kakeru Yume," Seijirō Narumi's one-shot manga adaptation of Tecmo KOEI's Sengoku Musou 4 (Samurai Warriors 4) game.

Akai ended his Kamen no Maid Guy manga in 2012 after 15 compiled volumes. The series inspired a 12-episode anime series and original anime video in 2008.

Akai is also serializing Black Yome ni Yoroshiku! in Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Age magazine.
