Inazuma Eleven Soccer RPG for 3DS Debuts in N. America

Nintendo confirmed via its Nintendo Direct presentation that it released the soccer role-playing game Inazuma Eleven in the Nintendo 3DS eShop today. This is the first North American release of an Inazuma Eleven game title. The game costs US$19.99 and is a port of Level-5's original Inazuma Eleven DS game released 2008. The game is available in English, Spanish, and French.
Nintendo listed an Inazuma Eleven release for the first quarter of 2014 last month, but removed the listing.
Level-5 filed a trademark for "Inazuma Eleven" in the United States on December 19 for video games, animation, and toys. Level-5 previously filed the same trademark in 2010 but it expired on December 23. The company released the Nintendo Wii game Inazuma Strikers in Europe in 2012.
Media streaming service Hulu is currently streaming the first 26 episodes of Level 5 and TV Tokyo's Inazuma Eleven television anime series with an English dub and with a Spanish dub.
