Idolm@ster: One For All's 3-Minute Video Previews Bonuses

posted on by Egan Loo
New promos for Cinderella Girls & Million Live also streamed

The official website for Namco Bandai Games' The IDOLM@STER: One For All video game for the PlayStation 3 began streaming the second promotional video on Saturday. The website and the three-minute video both open with the tagline, "A new dream once again begins at 765Pro." The video also features the song "M@sterpiece."

The video promotes the upcoming game's ability to produce all 13 idols, which was impossible to do in the previous installments. The player starts with producing his or her favorite aspiring idol. Then it is time to pack the schedule with jobs and lessons. As the idol trains, the number of fans grows, and the story continues as she rises in the popularity rankings.

If you clear each season's objective, you can add more idols to your producing roster. Twice a year, your idols — all 13 if you have them all — can perform in the "All-Star Live" concerts. The game adds new accessories, outfits, and songs as the player aims to produce 765PRO's top idols.

The PlayStation 3 game will be available for purchase in Japan at retail and via digital download for 7,600 yen (about US$75) on May 15. The first copies will come with a serial number for obtaining two exclusive idols in mobile games: Miki Hoshii in The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls and Chihaya Kisaragi in The IDOLM@STER: Million Live.

The limited first edition "765Pro Shin Produce Box" will come in an exclusive box illustrated with the agency version of the main visual. This 11,880-yen (US$115) version will bundle the special drama CD "765Pro ga Iku! Top idol no O-shigoto Kengaku," the 765Pro Idol trade pamphlet, the game itself, cleaning cloth with words from the company president, a 765Pro calendar with "written" notes by all the idols, a product code for downloading limited original design costumes, and 13 rectangular posters.

The downloadable version will be available from the iMAS Channel PlayStation Store app that was announced on the same day as the new PlayStation 3 game last September.

Another video promotes The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls idols' first live concert event of their own. The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls Wonderful M@gic!! concerts will be held on April 5 and 6 and tickets will go on general sale on March 1. In addition, theaters will host live-viewing streams, and tickets for these viewings will include an original drama CD when they go on sale on February 23.

Still another video celebrates the first anniversary of The IDOLM@STER: Million Live game, starting on Thursday. Players can receive original digital photo frames with recorded idol voices. There is also a drama theater contest using the game's drama-making feature. (The winning entries will actually be voiced by the cast.) All players will receive a special animation card. Finally, the game will receive a major version upgrade this year. Plus, The IDOLM@STER: Million Live 1st Live "Happy Performance!!" concert will be held at Tokyo's Nakano Sun Plaza.
