Manga of drama CD from viewpoint of Rintarō Okabe's childhood friend Mayuri Shiina

The September issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine will include the final chapter of Shinichirō Nariie's manga adaptation of the Steins;Gate: Mugen Enten no Arc Light Divergence 1.130205% drama CD on Tuesday. The 2010 drama CD recounts a story not told in the original Steins;Gate game by 5pb. and Nitroplus, from the viewpoint of Rintarō Okabe's childhood friend Mayuri Shiina.

Nariie previously adapted the Steins;Gate Aishin Meizu no Babel drama CD into a manga. That adaptation, which told story of Steins;Gate game from Kurisu's perspective, ended in January.

The original game is the second "scientific adventure game" from 5pb. and Nitroplus, who also created Chaos;HEAd. The artist huke (Black Rock Shooter) designed the characters. The suspense story takes place in a realistic version of Tokyo's Akihabara otaku shopping district.

The Steins;Gate television anime adaptation premiered in Japan from April to September 2011, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime outside Japan as it aired. Funimation licensed and released the television anime in North America. The Steins;Gate Fuka Ryōiki no Déjà vu anime film premiered in Japan in Apri 2013 and Funimation licensed the film earlier this month.
