Nisekoi: Yomeiri!? PS Vita Game's 2nd Promo Gives Nods to Metal Gear Solid

Konami develops November 27 PS Vita game that has codec calls, cardboard box hiding maneuvers

Kondami began streaming the first second promotional video for the Nisekoi: Yomeiri!? PlayStation Vita game inspired by Naoshi Komi's Nisekoi manga on Thursday.

Chitoge: Hey, hey, Darling, listen! Nisekoi is turning into a PS Vita game! ...Wait, so what kind of game is this?
Raku: You don't even know that? Geez. Well then, I guess, I, the protagonist of the game, will describe the contents. The player becomes me, Raku Ichijō, and enjoys high school life. Within that is an adventure game in which the player deepens his/her bonds with the heroines... Apparently.
Chitoge: Apparently!? What's that supposed to mean!? Weren't you supposed to be explaining the game!?
Raku: It can't be helped, OK!? I haven't been filled in on everything, either...
Chitoge: You are always such a useless bean sprout...
Raku: You didn't know anything either, OK!?
Chitoge: I'm an exception, since I'm a heroine. Um... I am a heroine, too, right?
Raku: Well, yeah, I guess.
Chitoge: Which means you and I are going to be doing...!?
Raku: Huh? What?
Chitoge: You just said it's going to be a romance adventure game, right! Does that mean... You and I be doing romantic things..?
Raku: Never.
Chitoge: Huh!?
Raku: We're fake lovers, so we wouldn't have a romance now. Isn't this a game on how to remove our fake relationship? Or a game about stopping the fighting between the Beehive and the Shueigumi?
Chitoge: Why you...! You're the one who said it was a romance adventure game! There would never be such a bloody romance/adventure game EVER!
Raku: Ow, don't punch me! My HP will go down!
Chitoge: I don't care about your HP! Go down to zero and get a Game Over, you stupid bean sprout!
Raku: Stop! We're almost out of time, and I have to summarize things... OK. Just read this.
Chitoge: What's this?
Raku: It's the game's title. Say it on 3...
Chitoge: W-w-w-wait!
Raku: 1,2!
Raku & Chitoge: Nisekoi: Yomeiri!? (False Love: Marriage!?)
Chitoge: Marriage!? Wait... Whhaaaaaaaat!? MARRIAGE!?!?!

The video introduces a game-original character, Otama, who is voiced by Ayana Taketatsu (Oreimo, Invaders of the Rokujyōma!?). The video also shows gameplay that is giving nods to the Metal Gear Solid series of games also produced by Konami.

Konami is scheduled to release the game in Japan on November 27. First copies of the game will come bundled with a reversible game jacket featuring Marika at the center due to a fan vote and a product code for four "newlywed" scenarios to download.

The manga revolves around Raku Ichijō (Kōki Uchiyama), a normal high school student who happens to be the heir to a yakuza group. The attractive but violent transfer student Chitoge Kirisaki (Nao Tōyama), the heir to a rival yakuza group, transfers to his class, and the two must pretend to date to keep a war from breaking out between their families.

The manga already inspired the Nisekoi Majikore!? "heroine-training true-love collection game" from Konami on Android and iOS devices. Chitoge is also a support character in Namco Bandai Games' J-Stars Victory Vs. "team battle action" video game.

Viz Media is releasing the original manga digitally and in print. The manga inspired a television anime and original video anime from chief director Akiyuki Shinbo, director Naoyuki Tatsuwa, character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama, the anime studio SHAFT. Aniplex of America plans to release the television anime series on home video, and Crunchyroll streamed the television anime as it aired in Japan. A second season of the anime has been green-lit.
