Wake Up, Girls! Spinoff Manga About I-1 Club to End

Rival idol group stars in U.G.E's manga
This year's April issue of Gakken's Megumi Magazine announced on Saturday that the U.G.E's Little Challenger: Wake Up, Girls! -side I-1club- spinoff manga will end in the following issue on March 30.
U.G.E. writes the manga starring I-1 Club, the rivals to the title Wake Up, Girls! idol group. Gakkan shipped the first compiled volume in September.
The original anime by director Yutaka Yamamoto (often nicknamed as "Yamakan") and scriptwriter Touko Machida began in 2014 with the one-hour film Wake Up, Girls! Shichi-nin no Idol, followed by the television show. The series also spawned the Wake Up, Girl Zoo! original net animation later in 2014. A sequel film has been green-lit for this year.
