In addition, the cast will star in a drama CD adaptation of the manga, which will be bundled with a limited edition of the manga's eighth compiled book volume on February 23. New prints of the manga's first volume will also bundle the same drama CD starting on the same date.

The anime is slated to premiere in 2016.

The manga's story centers around Kenji Gion, a short first-year high school student. On his first day at Kanagawa Prefectural High School, he meets the tall Sumiaki Iwashimizu during a game of rugby. Kenji Gion strikes a friendship with Sumiaki, and soon joins the rugby club. The manga portrays the struggles of the mismatched pair.

Amase (Yuki Shimaki) launched the manga in Morning two in 2012. Kodansha published the manga's seventh compiled book volume on September 23.
