Aikatsu Stars! Anime Casts Miyu Tomita, Minami Tsuda

The April issue of Kadokawa's Newtype magazine confirmed the cast and staff for the upcoming Aikatsu Stars! anime on Thursday.
The TV anime series and flm will star:
Miyu Tomita as Yume Nijino
Ayaka Asai as Laura Sakuraba
Minami Tsuda as Hime Shiratori
Sumire Morohoshi as Tsubasa Kisaragi
Azusa Tadokoro as Yuzu Nikaidō
Ayaka Ōhashi as Yozora Kasumi
Teruo Satoh will direct the anime at BN Pictures with series composition by Yūko Kakihara. Yukiko Aikei is designing the characters, while Ryuichi Kimura will serve as supervisor. Kimura was the director of all the Aikatsu! television anime series from 2012 to 2015.
The television anime series will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on April 7 at 6:25 p.m., and it will air on Thursdays. The show will also air on BS Japan on Mondays at 5:00 p.m.
The series will feature a new protagonist named Yume Nijino. Yume aims to become a top idol, and she enrolls in the Yotsuboshi Gakuen (Four Stars Academy). This academy has a special group called the S4, who are the top four active idols in the school. Yume and the other first-year students aim to become a part of the S4.
A new Aikatsu! film titled Gekijōban Aikatsu Stars! (Aikatsu Stars! The Movie) will open on August 13, and will revolve around the students of the Yotsuboshi Gakuen traveling to a southern island in search for the "Legendary Dress."
