posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
New anime adaptation of Bushiroad's card game premieres this summer

Bushiroad began streaming a second promotional video on Sunday for the upcoming Hina Logi: from Luck & Logic anime adaptation of its Luck & Logic card game. The video introduces the main characters of the series.

Doga Kobo is animating the series. Hiroaki Akagi (episode director for Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, GJ Club) is directing the series, and Yukie Sugawara (Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online II) is handling the series composition. Satomi Kurita (animation director for Haikyu!!, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) and Manabu Nii (Karneval) are designing the characters.

The 12-episode series will premiere this summer and follow the "cute everyday life of the Logicalist girls." The second season of the "Watashi-tachi, Rakuroji-bu!" (We Are the Luck & Logic Club!) short anime series will premiere on August 1.

The main series centers on Liones Yelistratova, the naive princess of a small nation, who goes to Hokkaido to enter ALCA, an educational institution dedicated to teaching Logicalists who uphold world peace. Liones enters Class S, and encounters many unique classmates, including Logicalist Nina Alexandrovena.

The Luck & Logic project is a collaboration between Bushiroad, Bandai Visual, Doga Kobo, Nitroplus, Lantis, and Yuhodo. The television anime series premiered in Japan in January 2016. Funimation streamed the series in North America as it aired. Crunchyroll streamed the series in Spain and Portugal, and Daisuki and Anime Lab also streamed the series outside of North America. The "Watashi-tachi, Rakuroji-bu!" (We Are the Luck & Logic Club!) short anime series aired before each TV anime episode.
