Neofilms to Open Genocidal Organ Anime Film in Hong Kong on May 4

Hong Kong film distributor Neofilms began streaming a Chinese- and English-subtitled trailer for the anime film of Project Itoh's Genocidal Organ novel on Tuesday. The video reveals that Neofilms will open the film in Hong Kong on May 4.
Neofilms previously announced that it will also screen The Empire of Corpses and Harmony in Hong Kong this year. All three films are based on novels by late author Project Itoh.
Genocidal Organ opened in Japan on February 3.

The new anime company Geno Studio produced the film. Geno Studio took over production of the film after the studio Manglobe, which was originally animating the film, filed for bankruptcy in September 2015. The film's staff then announced in October 2015 that the film had been delayed.
