TOKU to Air Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Ginga S TV Series

Olympusat, Inc.'s television channel TOKU announced on Monday that it will air the live-action Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Gaia, and Ultraman Ginga S (seen right) series in February. It will also air the tokusatsu movie Outer Man on February 10 at 10:00 pm. EST.

Ultraman Ginga will premiere on TOKU on February 8 and air Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. EST. The 11-episode series premiered in Japan in 2013.

Ultraman Gaia will premiere on TOKU on February 9 and air Monday through Friday at 7:00 p.m. EST. The 51-episode series aired in Japan from 1998 to 1999.

Ultraman Ginga S will premiere on TOKU on February 24 and air Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. EST. The 16-episode series premiered in Japan in 2014 as a sequel to Ultraman Ginga. The series inspired a film in 2015, and William Winckler Productions screened the film with an English dub in the United States and Canada last year. Crunchyroll is streaming both Ginga and Ginga S.

TOKU previously announced that it will air The Ultraman television anime series starting on January 29 at 8:00 p.m. TOKU confirmed that the episodes will air with English subtitles, and a new episode will premiere every Monday. The final episode is scheduled to premiere on April 23.

The 50-episode series aired in 1979-1980, and was the first animated series in The Ultraman franchise. Hisayuki Toriumi and Takeyuki Kanda directed the series at Sunrise (known then as Nippon Sunrise) and Tsuburaya Productions.

TOKU has also recently aired Ultraman Leo, Ultraseven X, Ultraman Nexus, Ultraman Neos, Ultraman 80, Ultraman Max, Neo Ultra Q, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster, and Ultraman Zero: The Chronicles. It is offering Ultraman Neos and Ultraman 80 on its Amazon streaming channel, and Ultraman Neos and Ultraseven X on its go90 channel.
