Photo Kano, Love+ Staffers Make LoveR PS4 Dating Simulator

KimiKiss/Amagami's Ichiro Sugiyama, TokiMemo's Tarō Minoboshi make February 14 game

Sony's "PlayStation LineUp Tour" streaming event on Monday unveiled LoveR (pronounced "Love - R"), a brand-new original dating simulation PlayStation 4 game from Kadokawa Games, producer Ichiro Sugiyama (KimiKiss, Amagami, Photo Kano), and designer Tarō Minoboshi (formerly Mino☆Tarō of Tokimeki Memorial, LovePlus games). Similar to Sugiyama's earlier Photo Kano, the new game has a photography theme. The game will ship on February 14, 2019.

Sugiyama launched Kadokawa Games' Sweet One brand last October, and teased at the time that the brand's initial dating simulation game offering would debut this year with the themes of "photographs" and "movies."

Minoboshi designed characters for Konami Entertainment's Tokimeki Memorial and LovePlus franchises before leaving the company in 2015 and adopting a new pen name.
