Kanamemo is Latest Simulcast Addition on Crunchyroll

Magic and Mayhem Arrive to Lead Weekend at the Number One Online Destination for Anime and Asian Entertainment

San Francisco, CA (July 20, 2009) — Crunchyroll, the number one online destination for anime and Asian entertainment, announced today that KANAMEMO, the poignant tale of a young girl who lives through tragedy, is the latest simulcast addition (henceforth on Sundays at 10:00 am PDT) for the Crunchyroll summer season. KANAMEMO is available in the United States, America Samoa, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand. As part of a free preview to promote new subscriptions, the first episode of the title was made available to subscribers and non-subscribers one hour after Japanese broadcast. Subsequent episodes will be exclusively available to Anime Members one hour after Japanese broadcast, and to the general public one week after its Japanese broadcast.

Title Synopsis:

KANAMEMO
Kana Nakamichi, a middle-school girl, had lost her parents and recently lost her remaining grandmother. Because she needs to support herself, she ends up living and working at a newspaper delivery office. Everyone else living at the office are all charming, self-assertive bishojo. The story follows Kana's daily life.
