Festival Vibe at London Anime & Gaming Con this 5-6 July

Fan-based Convention to Launch it's Cosplay Festival and expand it's anime and gaming events with £1,000+ of tournament prizes up for grabs

Following a sell-out 2,000+ event in February, London Anime & Gaming Con returns this 5th-6th July. Top guests have already been confirmed which include Maggie O'Hara, best known as the voice of Bulma from Dragon Ball Z, Tomoyo Daidouji from Card Captor Sakura and Mariemaia Khushrenada from Gundam Wing, other series include Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde from X-Men:Evolution. Many more big-names are promised, and with new gaming youtube, anime and cosplay guests being revealed every week it's worth continuously checking the website to view one of the biggest growing guest lineups.

Gaming continues to grow, with the involvement of companies such as GAME, CAPCOM, Namco-Bandai, Zen United and Ubisoft. The GAME Tournament Zone will return with a massive £1,000 worth of prize-support up for grabs. There will be over a dozen tournaments including League of Legends, Street Fighter IV, Halo 4, Call of Duty, Smash, Mario Kart, DDR, Minecraft and more. Casual gamers will also be catered for with the Gaming Lounge offering a choice of 200+ games from the 80s, 90s through to the present day.

Cosplay evolves further with the addition of European guests and Cosfest. The launch of 'Cosfest' will give this event an unique festival atmosphere with a number of fun cosplay-related activities taking place both inside and outside the event as part of this expansion.

Even more Anime and J-culture will also be on offer this summer, including a special Asian Movie night courtesy of Third Window Films, the Maid Cafe's performances and lots of Anime screenings and dealers with a wide variety of merchandise. Unique to the event will be it's parties, which take place at the event itself, are included as part of your ticket and carry on until 1am - something not to be missed!

"We want to continue to improve the event every year and add more fun activities", explains Event Organiser Michael Towers, "With the launch of Cosfest and our largest ever guest lineup we hope to give our attendees one awesome weekend."

Tickets can be bought at a discounted £19 for the weekend via the website now HERE and the party is included as part of your ticket. You can read a full preview of what the event has in store this July 5-6 at www.londonanimecon.com.
