MacrossWorld Convention 2015 presents 'Orguss' Panel Featuring U.S. Renditions Cast & Crew

Los Angeles, CA (September 10th, 2015) – MacrossWorld Convention 2015 celebrates the anime classic “Super Dimension Century Orguss” with a panel reuniting cast and crew from the English dub of the series produced by US Renditions! We're proud to welcome U.S. Renditions co-founder David Keith Riddick, engineer Les Claypool, and voice actors Tom Fahn (Kei), John Fahn (Hardy "Orguss", Hibiki Kanzaki "Macross II") and Victor Garcia (Olsen), as they look back at the influential company and it's efforts to present “Orguss” to the American market for the first time in the 1990s.

Originally released in 1983, “Orguss” was produced by many of the staff hot off their work on the smash hit TV series “Super Dimension Fortress Macross”, including director Noburo Ishiguro (“Gatchaman”, “Space Battleship Yamato”) and character designer Haruhiko Mikimoto (“Megazone 23”, “Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket”). US Renditions released a number of episodes of “Orguss” on VHS in the early 90s, pioneering the authentic localization of anime series outside of Japan.

MacrossWorld will present the panel at its annual convention, held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center in Torrance, California on Saturday October 17th.

The US Renditions cast and crew joins previously announced Guest of Honor Mari Iijima (Lynn Minmay, “Macross”), with additional guest announcements on the way.

Scheduled activities and attractions at MacrossWorld Convention include the “Macross Idol” cosplay and performance contest, a cosplay gathering, a plastic model and custom toy contest, maid cafe, dealer's room with unique merchandise from “Macross” and other mecha anime, and a special concert by Mari Iijima.
