Doraemon Renewal

TV Asahi announced on February 21st that it will soon release details about the new voice actor for Doraemon. Nobuyo Ōyama, the voice of Doraemon since 1979, will bow out with the March 18th 1-hour Doraemon special, with the new voice actor starting on the next episode. Even though the actor is changing, TV Asahi explained that they chose an actor with a voice similar to Oyama's.
