First you say you want imported anime. Then you say you want it cheap. You're contradicting yourself. Wink

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp

But seriously, imported DVDs from Japan aren't cheap. $40-$50 for two episodes.

Plus, unless you know Japanese, they won't do you any good since true imported anime from Japan doesn't have an English dub or subtitles. Now if you're looking for an entire series subbed for about $30, then you're talking bootlegged anime, something you won't get any help finding on this particular forum.

Most of the time no, but not always. The FLCL R2 release for instance, included English subs on every disc except for the first (don't ask me why not on the first)

If you mean "cheap" in the sense of cost, then I'm afraid legit imports are very expensive as one3rd suggested. The best choices I can think of are CD Japan, Yes Asia, or Amazon Japan. Smile

if you want cheap and legit then I suggest buying domestically since if you buy legit imports you pay for the base cost, the shipping, and the importation taxes equalling much more than what you would pay for domestically. plus unless you have a R2 dvd player, you will not beable to play most legit import dvds anyway.

but I know robert's anime corner store sometimes sells imports, and they also have an ad on the site

There are no import taxes in the US unless you go over $2000

[edit: sorry, no asking for bootlegs on ANN. Also, please use proper capitalization and punctuation; thanks. -b]

Well, no not quite. The Macross 7 R2 discs are 4 episodes per disc, but are $40-$50 each (13 discs total)

all I can say is WTF.
