I would imagine that they are also going to do quite a bit of swimsuit fan service and might do thins to appease the swimsuit fetishists.

He joked that the project might generate more interest than the Uru in Blue film project due to the main lead. |
What's the joke about? It's not like that's a veiled attack on the otaku of today or anything when Honneamise failed to find an audience in 1987. |
You don't understand, it's the otaku, they are always at fault.

2018, so probably not that far into development. |
I'm kind of looking forward to it and NOT looking forward to it at the same time.
I mean, it's a sort-of-sequel to my favorite anime movie. But that movie didn't really need a sequel.

I think I've just reached a point where I can't helped but get excited when Sadamoto and Gainax are mentioned. I would hope this free diver thing wouldn't just be some slice-of-life or drama show and maybe like... I don't even know, maybe through some sci-fi elements in there or something.
And crap Uru seems so far away from completion.

Well, that's an interesting premise. Leave it to Japan, we can make an anime about anything. So when are we gonna get a anime film about raising dogs?

Would Dog Days suffice as that?

Probably joking about the current craze of pasting a cute girl into anything guarantees automatic sales over Uru in Blue where the lead is apparently just some *yawn* guy.

Well shit, Gainax proved that themselves in 1988 when Gunbuster succeeded where Honneamise failed.
