There's still the original Japanese VA's. I'm pretty sure most people buying aren't just for the American voice actors.

I do hope he has the integrity to finish what he started

and that comment about the original VAs is misplaced

this is a thread about the AS dub broadcast.

According to a bump I saw 30 seconds ago, Code Geass is on at 1:00 from now on.

ADDENDUM: They are also running CG advertisements now, I guess better late than never for those of you complaining about their absence.

"Better late than never" but they could have bothered to start earlier. I think they should just quit on anime.

Well he's probably already finished the first season of Code Geass, but for the second season I don't think he'll be voicing him again. I hope he's just taking a break from it or something. I have a feeling he wants to try and get into live action movies. Like the one he's making right now with Daniel Southworth called Broken Path coming out in September. I think voice acting was really a way to break out of the power rangers image. Cause he said himself that it was very hard to get anything after power rangers.

I saw the first episode on Saturday, well Sunday technically. I thought the dub was alright, I'll certainly keep watching it. I didn't realize it was by CLAMP before.

Episode 2 is out! Razz

Now in this episode you'll see Lelouch in action and get a somewhat better idea what this series will entail.

It's not "by" CLAMP though, at least not in the sense that series like X or Angelic Layer were "by" CLAMP. CLAMP were just "hired guns" this time, providing character designs. The story itself is very Sunrise-y, which is why similarities to shows like Gundam and Gasaraki have been brought up.

I don't know what CN is thinking putting it on that late. It is not THAT bad and you can't cash in that license to print money if you cut off your own arms.

Bleach, Death Note and Code Geass all got moved up 30 minutes and Shin Chan got moved back to 1:30.

So this change is effective this week, right? Gotta go change the DVR, seeing as how my satellite provider is pretty crappy when it comes to updating schedules.
