I'm not particularly familiar with the series, but Baccano! (anime #7492) apparently has three DVD-only episodes (CD Japan for proof). ISTM that these should probably be split into a separate, sequel OAV entry.

I don't know, there are lots of series that have bonus DVD episodes that ANN doesn't list as separate OVAs: Ah! My Goddess, MoonPhase, and sola are three I know off the top of my head that are in the same situation that include the extra episodes in the main series entry.

Aaa, but there are a lot that do list them grouped separately. Such as .hack//SIGN, .hack//INTERMEZZO (episode 27), and .hack//UNISON (episode 28).

See this post by dormcat about the topic, and a small, later discssion.
If the OAVs are not split from the television series, then the number of episodes needs to be corrected from 13 to 16. |

What is considered not split? In addition to the usual vague distinctions between OVAs, bonus episodes, and what-not, Baccano doesn't tell a story straight through chronologically in the main series, it's got several stories that occur at different times being told concurrently. Episode 14-16 play as much as a straight continuation as any episode in that series possibly can and they are full length episodes. Does that give any indication of which way this should be treated? |

I mean if the three episodes are not moved into their own Encyclopedia entry.
Yes, a bit. |

It seems that Hōkago 2 The Animation (OAV) (#8504) needs extensive clean up because it has been confused and conflated with the later, related Hōkago 2: Sayuri (already submitted). Both are based on the same game, and are by the same group of companies, but otherwise appear to be different. Hōkago 2: Sayuri's official site.
[Fixed]. Note that Hōkago 2: Sayuri is pending confirmation as a new series ([fixed]). Last edited by doc-watson42 on Mon Apr 22, 2019 9:13 pm; edited 3 times in total |

My My Mai (#47) is composed of two episodes of two stories apiece, not four episodes (proof: episode 1 and episode 2 at allcinema). I've entered error reports for the number of episodes and the running time, but the episode titles (six of them), while accurate, also need to be rearranged into "1. A.", "1. B.", etc.

The title of Night Shift Nurses: Ren Nanase (OAV) (#8185) should actually be Night Shift Nurse: Ren Nanase (in the singular). See the cover for proof.

Would someone please be kind enough to figure out why I cannot submit "2. (2006-04-25)" (proof) as the release date for Bible Black Only volume 2 on the episodes page? I was able to submit the release date for episode 1 without a problem.

That date had been previously entered by someone else and then marked as spam. Fixed.

Anime #8068 should have its primary title changed from "[...] Haha Musume [...]" to "[...] Oyako [...]" (a pun on "親子"). Proof: The official game site uses "oyako" in its URL, and a similar search on the kana for Doki Doki Oyako Lesson (ドキドキおやこレッスン) turns up the anime and the game, while a Google search for ドキドキははむすめレッスン (Doki Doki Haha Musume Lesson) is much more ambiguous.
The alternate romanization should probably be retained in some form so that the entry can be found. [Fixed] Last edited by doc-watson42 on Mon Apr 12, 2010 1:28 am; edited 1 time in total |

It came from oyako-don (親子丼), rice bowl with chicken meat and egg; visit Yoshinoya near you for examples. In adult titles it means the protagonist is having sexual relationships with mother and daughter at the same time (often in threesome). |

I knew about the donburi dish—I considered linking to the Wikipedia article, but decided that the word as-is was more appropriate.
That's three hours drive away.
This I did not know, though I am aware of Anyone You Can Do... I Can Do Better!'s Japanese title. Thanks! Thanks for fixing this problem so quickly. While you are at it, would you mind also fixing the titles for the official site links? Lastly, which is preferred or more correct—"dokidoki" or "doki doki"? |

In the same vein, Hika Ryoujuku - Lust of Shame should be Hika Ryoujoku - The Lust of Shame (which I've already entered); proof.
