Crispin Freeman moves this from a 'maybe' to a 'definite buy'.

Also, forgive me if I've missed something, but was the decision on whether Durarara will be released on blu-ray addressed anywhere before?

There's no BluRay release planned for DRRR!! in Japan (yet), so for now I'd say it's not likely at the moment.

How big is Isaac and Miria's parts in Durarara, anyway?

It isn't 100% out of the question the voices will be changed, though it is the most likely thing that will happen. The wiggle room is that if the part is small they could use the Texas actors via a SAG waver, IIRC how this works. The actual problem is Catlin Glass - for those who missed it, she moved Europe earlier this year with her new husband (she has said she will finish up her FMA:B commitments so no one freak out about that one) Confused . Funi's going to be lucky to get her back for potential future continuation of other projects she's been in, let alone BZ getting her for a part in Durarara Sad . However, they could get J Micheal and I would be thankful if they did that Smile .

Anyway, if this was five years ago I'd be thinking "not another Walgren/Freeman pairing" but it's been so long since I've hear Kari in anything I'm actually happy about this turn of events Very Happy .

Yeah... I don't know any of these voice actors...(to tell the truth, I don't know any voice actors besides Vic, and I hate him with a burning passion... Stupid fangirls...>_>).

Oh well, I still bet I will enjoy the dub. Anime exclamation ($5 someone will reply to my comment about the Vic part... Wink )

It always makes me happy when Kari Wahlgren gets work. She's a really, really talented voice actress who isn't in nearly enough anime.

I'll miss Tatum and Caitlin as Isaac and Miria, Thankfully it's just a short cameo but it still hurts bad.

I feel your pain dude.

Not big at all. They only appear in one, maybe two scenes in one episode and have only a few lines of dialog.

Indeed, that plus Kari Wahlgren as Celty, I'm sold.

Sadly no I'd love to buy this on Blu-ray.

Too true, she needs more roles.

Isaac and Miria are in only (literally) one minutes worth of the show. People are making way to big of a deal about this.... Laughing

Alright, thanks. That's unfortunate. Sad I'm sure it would have looked nice.

Amen! I am not a huge fan of English at all, but I love Kari Wahlgren in every dub I've heard her in, she has so much versatility and nails every role. Her playing Celty will make me at least look at the English dub (though I still would prefer that they focus on making the subtitles easily legible and typo-free).

Sounds good. Still wondering if it will be available outside of Bandai's store though.

Durarara!! is pretty popular; perhaps if they realize how popular it is we might get a blue ray release.

I'm looking forward to R.O.D on Blu-ray. Is it the TV series or the OVA? I like em both.
