 In an attempt to distance themselves from GRANDIS and her two henchmen, JEAN takes NADIA to his home in Le Havre. Along the way, they must outmaneuver "The Gratan" – Gandis' multi-purpose armored vehicle and face up self-righteous bigotry from Jean's well-meaning, but socially unenlightened aunt.
 The high point of the episode is a thrilling escape on Jean's newest invention "Etolie de la Mer #7" – a two-seat airplane destined to make an unexpected "maiden voyage" which allows Jean and Nadia to slip through the clutches of Grandis and company.
 Set in 1889, NADIA is a sophisticated and highly entertaining animated serial which draws its central storyline from Jules Verne's classic "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". With more than enough plot twists and complex characterization to satisfy the most ardent viewer, NADIA is timeless animation storytelling.
