Madoka Magica Cast Drawn in Kalafina Cosplay

The official blog for the musical trio Kalafina announced on Monday that the group's next album will be bundled with postcards of Puella Magi Madoka Magica characters wearing the band's outfits. Each of the three store chains selling the album will contain a different Kalafina postcard as well as two sets of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica x Kalafina Collaboration Illustration" postcards (sample postcard pictured at right).
The album, titled After Eden, will hit stores in Japan on September 21. The three chains selling the album with the postcards are Animate, AniBro Gamers!, and Toranoana.
Kalafina's Wakana, Keiko, and Hikaru debuted in 2008 with "oblivious," the first of seven ending theme songs for the Kara no Kyōkai - the Garden of sinners anime films. Since then, they have performed theme songs for several other anime, including Black Butler, Sound of the Sky, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Kalafina performed at Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July.
Yuki Kajiura, a veteran composer of such anime as Noir, .hack//SIGN, and Tsubasa Chronicle, put together the Kalafina group and writes the music.
