posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Japanese Nico Nico Douga website to stream 12-hour feed starting tonight

The Japanese Nico Nico Douga website will stream the "CLAMP Festival Tokyo 2011" event live on Saturday, September 24 from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. in Japan (Friday, September 23 from 9:00 p.m - 9:00 a.m. EDT). (Note: in order to view the livestream you will need to log in to the site. However, if you have a registered account at the English niconico.com website, you can use that account information to log into Nico Nico Douga.)

The stream itself will not show the festival's main stage, but will stream the events at the CLAMP Gakuen stage. That stage will host a performance from the all-girl band Sweety and other guests, as well as a cosplay event.

The event will take place at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, and it will host voice actors, live concerts, discussion panels, skits, anime dialogue recordings, and other stage shows. The manga quartet CLAMP will debut an original manga at the festival, and the manga will receive a video adaptation headed by Tiger & Bunny director Keiichi Satou.

Guests at the festival will include Nana Mizuki, Naomi Tamura, Yui Makino, Megumi Nakajima, Rie Tanaka, Mika Kikuchi, Jun Fukuyama, Sakura Tange, Junko Iwao, Sayaka Ōhara, Kinya Kotani, Hiroshi Kamiya, Shōko Nakagawa, Miyu Irino, Tetsu Inada, and Dustz.
