For the February 27 edition of their SMAP x SMAP variety show, pop group SMAP will once again cover famous anime songs in collaboration with their original artists. The group had done this for the first time last November.

Their performances will include versions of songs from series such as One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Cutie Honey, City Hunter, and Castle in the Sky. The website also advertises that TM Network, the performers of City Hunter theme song "Get Wild," will "reunite" for the program in order to perform the song in collaboration with SMAP.

The SMAP x SMAP program, which is broadcast at 10:00 at night on Mondays in Japan, has been running since April 1996.
