'Super GameSong' Concert Adds Sakura Wars, Idolm@ster Cast

Anime & game franchise voice actress/singers to perform at May 26 event

The official website for the "Super GameSong Live 2012" concert announced on Wednesday that cast members and theme song performers from the Sakura Wars and The IDOLM@STER franchises will appear at the event. The Japanese game theme song event will take place in Kanagawa Prefecture's Pacifico Yokohama convention center on May 26.

Chisa Yokoyama, who voiced Sakura Shinguji and performed theme songs in Sakura Wars, will perform with her fellow voice actress/singers Michie Tomizawa (Sumire Kanzaki) and Urara Takano (Maria Tachibana) from the anime, manga, and game franchise. The IDOLM@STER's Asami Imai (Chihaya Kisaragi), Akiko Hasegawa (Miki Hoshii), and Manami Numakura (Hibiki Ganaha), who all performed theme songs for the game and anime franchise, will also attend the event.

The studio Mages and the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting company are collaborating to host the concert that will focus on adventure games but will include music from a variety of game makers, labels, and platforms. Popular songs will be synchronized with visuals from each game, and artists will perform live with selections from both recent and classic games. Previously announced performers will include Afilia Saga East, Ayane, Kanako Itou, AiRI, CooRie, Minami Kuribayashi, Hiromi Satou, Faylan, Yui Sakakibara, Ceui, NanosizeMir, yozuca*, and Rita.
