Mega Man Gets Monster Hunter Crossover Merch

Ichiban Kuji and Banpresto have teamed up for what is possibly the cutest 30th anniversary CAPCOM merchandise. Banpresto took Monster Hunter's cat mascot Felynes (Airū) and decided to dress it up like Mega Man for a set of figures and plushies.

The figure comes in two versions: Mega Man and Metal Mega Man.

Plushies also include Felynes dressed as Darkstalkers' Morrigan, Street Fighter's Chun-Li, the title character of Okami, Sengoku Basara's Masamune, and Ace Attorney's Maya.

Banpresto also created two series of pins featuring CAPCOM's heroes and villains, headphone plug charms, glasses, pouches, mats, and two pillows featuring the ladies of CAPCOM. If you're hoping to pick up any of this limited edition merchandise, you'll have to trust your luck. It can only be won via a lottery at Ichiban Kuji stores.

Monster Hunter's Felynes is popular in his own right: the character got two flash anime and spinoff PlayStation Portable games, a Nintendo 3DS variant, and Mario and Luigi DLC costumes in Monster Hunter 4.

CAPCOM released a free-to-play Megaman x Streetfighter PC game as part of its 30th anniversary last year.
