Next month, the Japanese convenience store chain LAWSON is launching a collaboration with the popular stage musical adaptation of the online game Tōken Ranbu. Fans of the suave swords can buy alarm clocks featuring their favorite characters as portrayed by their actors — and including voice clips from the actors to wake them up in the morning.

From left to right, the choices are Kashū Kiyomitsu, Yamatonokami Yasusada, Izuminokami Kanesada, Horikawa Kunihiro, Hachisuka Kotetsu and Nagasone Kotetsu. The clocks will cost 5,940 yen (about $56.30) each and can be reserved beginning on August 1. Reservations last until September 30 and delivery is scheduled for December 22.

LAWSON customers will also be able to get an Osaifu Ponta, a prepaid card, featuring the Tōken Ranbu actors. There are two varieties, one depicting The Story of Atsukashiyama, the franchise's first musical, and the other showing the new, as yet unnamed musical. You can also order microfiber towels with the same images. The cards themselves cost 700 yen (US$6.60); the towel set costs 2,860 yen (US$27.12). Orders will be taken from August 9 to August 28, with delivery expected on November 10.

Supplies for all of these are limited. Orders can be made at Lawticke HMV, LAWSON's ticket purchase service.

The swords-as-men of Tōken Ranbu have also been represented as yōkan (sweet bean jelly), figures to keep instant noodles warm, and assorted jewelry items.
