CPM Comics gearing up to release Slayers manga

In July, Central Park Media announced that their CPM Comics division (which usually prints American comic interpretations of anime they've released) licensed the manga of Slayers and Record of Loduss War from Kadokawa Shoten for English distribution in North America.
Now, John Hughes reports that a special promotional deal has been tied in with the dubbed releases of The Slayers anime. For every ten issues that retailers order from CPM, one will be shipped autographed by Lisa Oritz, American voice actor for Lina Inverse.
Rob Allstetter of The Detroit News reports that both The Slayers and Lodoss War manga will have new story lines and will not follow the Anime.
