Vandread Scheduled for US Release

Vandread the creation on Gonzo Studios will be released in the US on Decemeber 18th in DVD and VHS format. The VHS version is dubbed while the DVD features both Japanese and English language tracks. Two special holographic foil trading cards will be included with the DVD (and possibly the VHS). The DVD will retail for $28.98 and the VHS version will be $24.98. These will only show the first four episodes.
Vandread started back in 2000 and became very popular with anime fans in Japan. Studio Gonzo has been very rpoud of the fact that Vandread features over 100 beautiful girls.
Shortly after the US release the first special gold DVD will be released in Japan on the 21st of December for 6,800 yen. These gold DVD have special videos included.
November 1st will see the release of a limited drama CD. The CD will be of a an episode aired on Japanese radio. It will retail at 2,100 yen.
The single for Vandread: The Second Stage goes on sale tomorrow, October 26th. The CD is name "Justice" which is the title of the vadread opening song. The CD will also contain the ending theme, "Yes, Together", as well as the song Spicy Spacy Love. There will also be 6 karaoke tracks included. The album is priced 1,500 yen.
There is still more Vandread music being released in the near future. Vandread: The Second Stage OST will be released Novemeber 30th for 3,00 yen. It will contain the popular opening song, "Justice", as well as "Spicy Spacy Love". The CD will contain 42 tracks with all the background music from the TV series. A limited supply of CDs contain a CD jacket postcard for the first buyers.
