Comic Party: Revolution, Crayon Shin-chan movie # 12, One Piece movie # 5, Yugo, Gauche the Cellist, Mezzo TV
Comic Party: Revolution, a two part OVA based on the popular Comic Party series, is due out in December this year (part 1), with part two following in March 2004.
A twelfth Crayon Shin-chan movie is in production. The film will be released theatrically in April 2004.
The fifth One Piece Movie, Norowareta Seiken (The Cursed Holy Sword), is scheduled to be released theatrically in Japan on March 6th.
An anime series based on Akana Shuu and Makari Shinji's Yugo manga will start broadcast next Feburary. The thirteen-episode series will feature two story arcs--Pakistan and Russia. In a rare move, there will be two directors of the series.
Not exactly a new movie, but Gauche the Cellist is to be re-mastered and re-released on home video on December 21st. The DVD will include English Subtitles and a slew of extras including a staff interview, colour character sketches, image boards, background art, a trailer and a ten page booklet. Concidered a classic by many, Gauche the Cellist has never had a legitimate release with English subtitles (or dub) before.
The long awaited Mezzo Forte TV series, Mezzo TV, has had its TV premiere set for January 6th.
