Production I.G interviews Blood+ animation director

Production I.G's English-language website has been updated with the first part of an exclusive interview with Akiharu Ishiii, the animation director of Blood+. Ishii, who began his career in animation working on Urusei Yatsura: The Final Chapter, has been a key animator on the Ghost in the Shell, the original Blood movie, and NieA_7. His most well-known work is Prince of Tennis, where he was responsible for both character design and animation direction. In the interview, among other things, Ishii describes his work habits and talks about the kinds of tools he uses.
