Gurren Lagann Film Named, Dated: Guren-hen on September 6

The official Japanese website of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann robot anime movie remake confirmed that the film has been named Gekijō-ban Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Guren-hen (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann the Movie: Crimson Chapter) and scheduled for September 6. The news was first announced at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) 2008 last weekend. As she announced at TAF, Otaku personality Shoko Nakagawa will return to perform a new theme song. The film will re-edit the first part of the television series story with some newly animated scenes.
