Clear posters, art collections to be given to advance ticket buyers

The official Japanese website for Hiroyuki Imaishi's Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Guren-hen film has launched with a promotional video. (The video requires the Microsoft Windows operating system with recent versions of the Internet Explorer browser and a media player.) Gainax debuted the video at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008 in late March; this first of several film remakes of the Gurren Lagann robot television series was pre-announced earlier that month with a website note for the event.

The flm opens in Japan on September 6, and advance ticket holders will each receive a clear poster (between May 30 and July 17) or an illustration collection (starting July 18). Bandai Entertainment announced at New York Comic Con last month that it had licensed the television series for release starting in July.
