News New My-Hime Project Begun in Japan

Project to feature different heroine, Mao
The official Japanese website of the My-HiME and My-Otome supernatural slice-of-life anime franchises has announced that a new project has begun with a different heroine, Mao. No more information has been given for now, but the website promises that additional details will be provided soon. Bandai Entertainment announced at Otakon 2007 that it acquired the My-Otome Zwei sequel after releasing both the My-HiME and My-Otome television series, but the My-Otome 0~S.ifr~ prequel has yet to be announced as licensed for North America.
