Funimation, YouTube Set Up Branded Online Channel

The North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it has set up a branded channel on the YouTube video-sharing website for trailers, promotional videos, and eventually full episodes of Funimation's titles. Funimation plans to add full episodes of Blue Gender, Slayers, Peach Girl, Mushi-Shi, Kiddy Grade, and other titles every week starting this month. A number of Japanese companies have set up similar channels on YouTube and other websites, but Funimation says its effort is the first such channel by an American anime company.discuss this in the forum (26 posts) |
