News Funimation, YouTube Set Up Branded Online Channel

The North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it has set up a branded channel on the YouTube video-sharing website for trailers, promotional videos, and eventually full episodes of Funimation's titles. Funimation plans to add full episodes of Blue Gender, Slayers, Peach Girl, Mushi-Shi, Kiddy Grade, and other titles every week starting this month. A number of Japanese companies have set up similar channels on YouTube and other websites, but Funimation says its effort is the first such channel by an American anime company.
