Umineko no Naku Koro ni Anime's Promo Video Streamed

The Famitsu.com website has posted a promotional video for the television anime adaptation of the Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry - Seagulls) mystery suspense dōjin game on Monday. The game is another title from Ryukishi07/07th Expansion's popular When They Cry (Naku no Koro ni) multimedia franchise. Unlike last August's promotional video, this new video contains actual anime footage. In the story, 18 people step foot on the remote island of Rokkenjima in October of 1986, when a spate of murders takes place.
Akiko Shikata sings the "片翼の鳥" (One-Winged Bird) opening theme song that is included in the video. Director Chiaki Kon and series script supervisor Toshifumi Kawase are reprising the respective roles from the previous When They Cry - Higurashi projects at Studio DEEN. Yōko Kikuchi (Noir) is designing the characters. The cast includes Daisuke Ono as Battler Ushiromiya, Marina Inoue as Jessica Ushiromiya, Sayaka Ōhara as Beatrice, and Yui Horie as Maria Ushiromiya.
