News No Grand Prizes Given for 1st Kyoto Animation Award

Anime studio gives only honorable mention prizes in novel, scenario categories
Kyoto Animation announced the award program last October and offered 300,000-yen (about US$3,400) grand prizes and 100,000-yen (US$1,100) honorable mention prizes in novel, manga, and scenario (script treatment) categories. The popular winning entries were to have had a chance at being animated by Kyoto Animation.
