NisiOisin's Kizumonogatari Light Novel Gets Anime (Updated)

A flyer included with NisiOisin's Nekomonogatari light novel has announced on Wednesday that production on a third NisiOisin anime project, Kizumonogatari, has been green-lit. This will be the latest NisiOisin work to be animated after Bakemonogatari and Katanagatari. The one-volume Kizumonogatari story is a prequel to the Bakemonogatari light novel series.
The flyer's copyright lists NisiOisin himself, the light novel's publisher Kodansha, the production company Aniplex, and the anime studio Shaft.
The online retailer Amazon in Japan had listed Blu-ray and DVD editions of Kizumonogatari and Nisemonogatari — the prequel and sequel, respectively, to Bakemonogatari — in January, but those listings have since been removed.
