The American television channel G4 announced that its joint premiere date for Mad House's anime adaptations of Marvel's Iron Man and Wolverine characters will be Friday, July 29. The first Iron Man episode will run at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Wolverine at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Mad House's other Marvel anime series, X-Men and Blade, will premiere on G4 later in the year. All four series are exclusive to G4 in the United States.

The Iron Man anime premiered at Comic-Con International 2010 in San Diego, before airing in Japan during the fall 2010 season. In the series, Tony Stark travels to Japan to build a new arc reactor for the country, but ends up fightiing the mysterious Zodiac consortium. Adrian Pasdar (Heroes, Castle) voices Stark.

Wolverine is based on the graphic novel by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller, and involves Logan trying to save his Japanese lover, Mariko, from her crime-lord father, Shingen. Logan teams up with a young assassin, Yukio. The title character is voiced by Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Rocky Balbao).
