News Symphogear Music Battle TV Anime's 1st Promo Streamed

The official website for the Senki Zesshō Symphogear television anime series began streaming its first 130-second promotional video on Wednesday. The anime follows a female vocal duo named Zweiwing and two ordinary schoolgirls who fight to save humanity against a threat known as "Noise."
Composer Noriyasu Agematsu of the music group Elements Garden and game producer Akifumi Kaneko (Wild Arms) created this project. Tatsufumi Itō is directing the project at Encourage Films with assistance by the studio Satelight (Macross Frontier) and its staff members such as Thomas Romain and Stanislas Brunet. Nana Mizuki, Minami Takayama, Aoi Yūki, and Yuka Iguchi lead the cast.

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.

Hiiro no Kakera is by no means a terrible show...it just isn't a very good one, either. With a stilted script and a team of heroes who feel incompetent, not to mention cookie cutter characters who do little to make themselves endearing or unusual, it does nothing to elevate itself above the masses.
