1st Tiger & Bunny Film's Short Trailer Posted

The Japanese website Cinema Today began streaming a 37-second trailer for the Gekijō-ban Tiger & Bunny -The Beginning- anime film on Wednesday. Like the full trailer that debuted earlier this month, this trailer features the theme song "Linear Blue o Kikinagara." Unison Square Garden, the rock band behind the television anime's first theme song, contributed this new song for the film.
This is the first of two anime films based on Sunrise's Tiger & Bunny television anime series. It will focus on the story from the first television episodes, with new anime shots added.
The official Twitter account for the franchise revealed earlier this month that Kappei Yamaguchi is voicing a new character named Robin. Masayuki Ozaki, a producer for Tiger & Bunny at the anime studio Sunrise, had already revealed during the Tiger & Bunny panel at Anime Expo that a new NEXT character will appear in the first film. Original character designer Masakazu Katsura created the character.
The film will open in Japan on September 22.
